Life beyond Capitalism - What's that?
A ‘my-daughter-is-going-away-to-college’ dad came to me with a heartfelt mission—he wanted to take one final family trip before his daughter met adulthood head-on. He hoped to give her a glimpse of life beyond capitalism and academics, something that would perhaps shift her perspective on the world. But there was a challenge—his family's strict vegetarian diet. They adhered to traditional Hindu dietary practices, and were prepared to rely on dehydrated, store-bought food for their travels.
😲 Seriously? How dare they! 😉 - Not under my watch
I arranged an exclusive safari deep in the Kenyan wilderness, complete with a personal chef who prepared fresh, organic, locally sourced vegetarian meals daily. They went from eating out of a box (I still can't believe they considered that!!) to sitting in the open savannah, sharing steaming comfort food, watching elephants roam freely in the golden sunset.
I hope that teenager carries that memory for life. That’s what travel is about - even for Gen Z.
